DIY: Cropped Top

Okay, this afternoon I did a lil research on one of my fav clothing item - CROPPED TOP. In Malaysia, which is summer 24/7, the weather here can be really really hot sometimes and basically you just wanna take your clothes off and run to beach EVERYDAY :0 Well, I need some fashionable items when I go to the beach and seriously, I have TONS of old Tees, I guess I can redesign them and give them a brand new life :p
Anyway, here's how it works:

 1. An old Tee. This is from Uniqlo x One Piece. I bought it when Uniqlo first arrived in Malaysia and as time goes by,, this tee is getting bigger and bigger and I gotta crop it ><

2. A pair of scissors and a ribbon. Why ribbon?? Easier for me to trace the ribbon and crop the tee. And ribbon is more flexible where you  can creates different kinds of lines that you might wanna crop :)

3. Place the ribbon on the Tee, TRACE AND CUT :D Well, You can try cutting different kinds of lines that you want, not necessary it has to be all the way straight to the end :)

 4. And voila!!!!!! You very own cropped top :D

After you cut your tee, the end will curl up a little so You might wanna sew it into something like this because it looks tidier and when you wash it, you don't need to worry about your cropped tee will go like those thread is loosen and ugly ugly ><

See the linings?? It looks nicer when You sew it :)

But I like mine a lil indie, a lil casual, a lil hipster kind of style, so I'll just let it curl~ I just gotta handle it carefully when I wash it...... HAND WASH ><

It curls up like that~

So I hope this tutorial is able to help you all and I'm gonna discover more of these DIY thingy~ Stay tune humans!! :D

xoxo
love ya
